World Bioenergy Association’s board member and entrepreneur Kai Johan Jiang wants to make the Swedish car manufacturer a leading producer of electric cars powered by green electricity.
Mr Jiang is the chief executive of Nevs, National Electric Vehicle, a electric car company founded this spring. Nevs has purchased the main assets of the Saab Automobile bankruptcy estate.
Kai Johan Jiang is the leading promoter of bioenergy in China. His company National Bioenergy has erected 28 combined heat and power plants using primarily agricultural residues to produce power and heat and another 9 plants are under construction. The Swedish subsidiary NBE Sweden has developed technology for second-generation biofuels and a biorefinery concept in Sweden. Kai Johan Jiang has been a member of WBA board since 2008.
