Lignofuels 2027 will take place in Stockholm, Sweden, bringing together senior representatives from across the lignocellulosic and advanced fuels value chain. Taking place on 17th and 18th February 2027, the conference will examine what is needed to move the next wave of lignofuel projects towards commercial scale, from feedstock supply, technology scale-up and offtake through to policy, finance and project execution.
With the sector facing renewed pressure to demonstrate genuine commercial progress, Lignofuels 2027 will move beyond technology potential to examine the practical conditions required to make projects investable. New attention will be given to biogenic municipal waste and pre-debt risk capital, alongside established challenges including forestry and agricultural feedstocks, regulatory certainty, project economics, scale-up and long-term demand.
