Welcome to the new and improved website!

Welcome letter by WBA President

Dear visitor,

Welcome to the new and improved WBA website!

World Bioenergy Association (WBA) started off in 2008 and has constantly strived to achieving our mission: Increasing the sustainable utilization of bioenergy and to support the business environment for bioenergy.

We are currently in a crucial juncture in the global climate and energy scenario. The Paris agreement entered into legal force and all stakeholders are realizing that the future will be powered by renewable energy. Bioenergy is currently the largest renewable energy source and will continue to play a leading role in providing sustainable solutions.

The key is information. It is more important now than ever to get the right message to the right people in a simple and efficient manner. This new website aims to do just that.

Find out about WBA and its organization in the About Us section. Go to the News and Events section to find out about our recent activities. Check out the Resources section to improve your knowledge about bioenergy with recent facts, statistics and opinions. The new and improved BioED section, which showcases the leading bioenergy equipment manufactures globally, will be launched very soon.

If you are already a WBA member, check out the new and improved member page with the latest newsletters and member exclusive reports.

If you are not yet a WBA member, don’t feel left out. Just click on Join on the top of the page and be a part of the global network of more than 200 strong bioenergy professionals from 50 different countries – Check out the WBA Network map on the homepage.

Finally, effective communication works both ways. So, please let us know how we can improve by sending feedback to info@worldbioenergy.org. Your feedback can be about the website or bioenergy or our activities. A simple note of appreciation is also welcome.

Happy browsing!

Kind regards

Remigijus Lapinskas

President, World Bioenergy Association
