WBA welcomes new members (October 2017)

World Bioenergy Association is pleased to welcome the following new members to the organization. They represent a broad spectrum of expertise in the bioenergy field including renewable energy agencies and expert networks, equipment and biomass producers.

ANER, Senegal

The mission of the ANER is to promote the use of renewable energies, including bioenergy, in all sectors of activity. The missions of the ANER are defined in article 2 of the decree n ° 2013-684 of May 17, 2013 bringing its creation, its organization and its functioning. This article stipulates that ANER's mission is to promote the use of renewable energies, including bioenergy, in all sectors of activity.

Mantex, Sweden

Mantex are dedicated to applying dual energy X-ray and associated techniques to the field of organic materials when used in large volumes. Today, Mantex are active in the Pulp and Paper and Bioenergy markets. They have also provided solutions for the board industry, pellets production, and research projects.

Cluster Valbiom Maroc, Morocco

Cluster Valbiom Maroc is a national association in Morocco supporting the development of biomass valorization in the country. The association was set up in September 2017 with a membership of 53 out of which 16 are companies.

Repotec, Austria

Repotec is a team of experienced specialists in the fields of power plant engineering and construction, which offers a way out of the greenhouse effect by the realization of carbon- neutral biomass power plants (combined heat and power). The desire for flexibility and innovation led to the foundation in July 2001. In the same year, Repotec succeeded with the breakthrough in biomass gasification at the CHP plant Güssing.

Pellet MX, Mexico

Pellet MX is a company developing the solid biomass market in Mexico. The company is planning to utilize residues from forestry, food and agriculture industries to produce solid biofuels that can substitute fossil fuel consumption in the industrial, tourism and domestic sectors. By covering the whole value chain of producing the biofuel, commercializing it and adapting the industry and domestic sectors for biofuel consumption, Pellet Mexico will contribute to developing a green economy.
