Case Study from ANDRITZ

"Turnkey pelletizing plant helps tackle urban pollution and boosts net zero potential"
 
The World Bioenergy Association is pleased to highlight a new case study from our member ANDRITZ, demonstrating the transformative potential of biomass pelletising in India.

To address urban air pollution and support national sustainability legislation, K2 Biofuels in Haryana has commissioned a multi-module turnkey pelletising plant from ANDRITZ. The facility converts a mix of agricultural residues (wood, mustard husk, and rice straw) into high-quality biomass pellets for co-firing in power generation, reducing reliance on coal and lowering emissions.
