want to: promote information exchange between Canada and Scandinavia to enable implementation of bioenergy development.

Important issue at home right now: 
due to changes in government and other reasons, climate change legislation in Canada has lagged behind Europe. However, governments are committed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and are now assessing what is the best legislation to achieve those reductions. Forestry provinces are looking at mechanisms to enable fair allocation of harvest residues.
