Dear Ladies and Gentleman,
during the past few years the wood energy sector was characterised by a constant growth. This success is based on stable basic political conditions in Europe and Germany . The background for this economic growth is always a solid domestic market. Bottom-up on the domestic market it was possible to establish a good international market position. In 2008 there was a new investment in the usage of biomass in heating plants of 1.5 billion Euros in Germany . All in all in the bioenergy sector nearly 96.000 workstations has been established. More than 100.000 pellet boilers also have been installed.
Not least because of EU resolutions and targets set for 2020, wood energy is becoming increasingly significant, especially as an attractive alternative to fossil fuels in electricity and heat market. New innovations and developments have been done. Different potentials in the different EU member states offer different possibilities to invest in the wood energy sector. Join us in our conference and let us discuss the future development of wood energy in Europe
Yours sincerely,
